If The 21st Century Finds Us In A Global Economy, Then Immigrants Are Needed To Help U.S. Businesses In Other Countries

Who knows other countries better than those who either live there now and could be brought here to work, or those who live here already and could be liaisons overseas?

I think it would be ten times harder for a company to grow globally if they don’t have expertise that enables them to understand the mores and business practices of the countries they serve or wish to serve. This is not a new idea, companies like Starbucks and others have this expertise available to them. The Cleveland Clinic opens hospitals in the Middle East. It’s no coincidence that half of the CC’s ownership is Middle Eastern. This makes for a smoother transition overseas. Every NE Ohio company with global ambition could benefit from an influx of immigrants who have this expertise and can help them grow exponentially.

If a company thrives, wouldn’t this mean more jobs for everyone?

This is what has been in my brain today. Yours?
